Festive Choral Music
Hello and welcome to my Festive Choral Music site. I’m a Scottish composer, arranger, pianist and songwriter now based in Surrey, England. I love working within a variety of musical styles and my mission as a choral arranger is to reconcile those styles that I love to create arrangements that are somewhat novel, yet authentic, melodic and accessible to choirs of all levels. Below you will find a short video introduction to my most recent festive music arrangements.
The new arrangements were recorded in a ‘hidden gem’ of a studio in East London called The Fish Factory with five brilliant singers led by tenor and conductor Harry Bradford. I played piano and co-produced the session with engineer Simone Gallizio. With only one voice to each part, the parts are very transparent and easy to hear, making the recordings a useful resource for choirs seeking to learn their parts by ear.
In addition to the recordings, below are preview examples of digital sheet music downloads of the scores. Using the side bar arrows to move forward (and backwards) through the score, you can peruse the music to assess difficulty level or follow the score whilst playing the audio recordings above.
