Katherine Bryan made her concerto debut at the age of 15 with Daniel Harding and the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London and later made her US concerto debut at the Lincoln Centre with the Juilliard Orchestra. Born in Falkirk, Scotland, now living in Surrey, Stevenson’s music has been recorded and performed by The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), The English Chamber Orchestra, The Bach Choir, The BBC Big Band and The Guy Barker Orchestra, broadcasting regularly across BBC Radio, Classic FM and Jazz FM. Betsy began playing the cello at the age of six and studied with Michael Evans of the Dartington String Quartet. In 1990 she was awarded a place on the Joint Course at the Royal Northern College of Music and Manchester University, studying with the Russian soloist Leonid Gorokhov. During this time she received masterclasses from Ralph Kirschbaum, Moray Welsh and Steven Isserlis.
